Novaled supports Scholarship Program for international Masters in Optics and Photonics
Photonic technologies are a crucial in this century and will answer several challenges we encounter in the fields of energy, environment, society, communication and production. To open the gate to the Photonic century dedicated people have to be educated and qualified in this field of research.
That’s the reason why an initiative driven by the Federal Government of Germany and the states Thuringia and Baden Wuerttemberg has been introduced. A consortium of industrial companies and leading universities in Optics and Photonics give special aid to international and national students who are willing to study in this exiting field.
As result of this initiative the “Scholarship Program for international Masters in Optics and Photonics” has been created. This two years Master Program bundles two of the most powerful education concepts throughout Europe at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Jena.
Novaled is pleased to backbone this initiative financially and to offer traineeships and master theses to students participating in this program. Novaled sees this commitment as an opportunity to help the next generation of young scientists to become well qualified and industry experienced specialists in Optics and Photonics.
