The German Research Consortium Caro (car OLED) developed new signage samples which are based on highly-transparent as well as non transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs). The OPTREX Europe GmbH worked closely together with Fraunhofer Institutes IPMS and IAP. Based on the Novaled PIN OLED^TM technology OPTREX managed to build a highly transparent device which exceeds state of the art transparencies of some 50% by far.
