36.5 - The Light Distribution in OLEDs and Ways to Increase the Light-Outcoupling Efficiency The optical properties of OLEDs were studied experimentally, and by means of simulation software with the aim to enhance the fraction of light coupled out of theAse devices and the critical parameters influencing outcoupling properties have been identified. As a result, an efficiency of 185 lm/W at 1000 cd/m2 was achieved for a green PIN-OLED. |

54.3 - White Stacked OLED with 35 lm/W and a Lifetime of 100,000 hours at 1000 cd/m2 for Display and Lighting Applications High-efficiency and long-lifetime white-light-emitting diodes have been realized by stacking a blue-fluorescent-emission unit with green- and red-phosphorescent-emission units. An efficiency of 35 lm/W at 1000 cd/m2 is achieved with CIE coordinates of (0.43, 0.44) and a color-rendering index of 90. An extrapolated lifetime at an initial luminance of 1000 cd/m2 is > 100,000 hours. |
