Scientific Colloquium
“Recent advances in solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes (OLED)“
POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS OF PROF. MEERHOLZ
Prof. Dr. Klaus Meerholz
at Novaled AG, 1st Sept.
1:00—2:00 p.m., 5th floor of BioZ
About the Colloquium:
Novaled AG is pleased to invite you and interested colleagues to the upcoming
colloquium. Attendees will learn more about OLEDs based on electroluminescent
conjugated polymers.
The devices are considered as promising alternative for display and lighting
applications because of low-cost production techniques and the usage of
large substrates. However, multiple-layer deposition for improving the device
efficiency and lifetime is still a challenge.
In his presentation Prof. Meerholz will summarizes recent trends in the field of
OLED with an emphasis on solution-processed devices:
photochemically cross linkable semiconductors for fabrication
of complex multilayer OLED
the potential of such for becoming organic lasers and RGB-pixilation
surface initiated cross linking process simplifying deposition
and improving devices lifetime
