Easy Integration onto Almost Any Substrate

Novaled technology has the advantage that its PIN OLEDs can be applied to almost any substrate. Due to band bending, good charge carrier injection is ensured for a wide range of materials, such as ITO, Au, Ag, Cr, Mo or AlTiN. Moreover, PIN OLEDs can also be used on AM-substrates with e.g. n-channel TFTs by using inverted top emission structures. As a result of doping, additional process steps, such as ITO treatment for bottom emission OLEDs, are not needed. The wide range of different materials lends Novaled extraordinary flexibility enabling it to tailor solutions for almost any customer product.
