Novaled GmbH appoints Björn Grabein as new CEO – Dr. Marc Lünnemann steps down for private reasons
Dresden, 4 December 2025 – Novaled GmbH announces that Dr. Marc Lünnemann is stepping down as Managing Director and CEO with immediate effect for private reasons and will leave the company on 31 December 2025.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board has appointed Björn Grabein as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 December 2025.
Björn Grabein has been with Novaled since 1 February 2016 and is therefore a firmly established part of the company for a lot of years. Most recently, he led the Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Infrastructure, EHS, and IT divisions. Under his leadership, supply-chain resilience was significantly strengthened, the China business successfully expanded, and setup of a high-performing team with clear roles, shared values, and continuous growth was achivied.
Prior to joining Novaled, Björn Grabein worked at Globalfoundries (Project Manager Procurement and Engineer Chemical Logistics) and at Rhenus AG. He holds a diploma degree in Transportation Economics from Dresden University of Technology.
