Novaled sends a strong message of support for young explorers: 7,500 euros for Kinderarche Sachsen e.V.
Dresden / Radebeul, 24 August 2026 – As part of their annual ‘Donation Voting’, employees at Novaled GmbH have enthusiastically chosen to support Kinderarche Sachsen e.V. The donation of 7,500 euros will benefit the ‘Naturfreunde’ inclusive children’s centre in Radebeul and will be used to purchase a large sun shade for the centre’s outdoor area.
Compensatiion and exercise for a good cause
The final donation amount is based on two key pillars: On the one hand, Novaled converts the CO₂ offsetting from business air travel into cash – last year, over 500,000 miles flown equated to a sum of 6,750 euros. On the other hand, staff walked a total of 750 kilometres during joint team events, which resulted in a further 750 euros.
Effective sun protection for outdoor areas
During the ceremonial cheque presentation on site, representatives from Novaled were able to see for themselves the work carried out by the centre. The nursery impresses with its nature-based approach, featuring its own vineyard, market garden and Kneipp treatments based on the methods of Friedrich Eduard Bilz.
Following the extensive interior renovation of the nursery, there was an urgent need for action in the outdoor area: the felling of a rotten maple tree had left the central play and sandpit area without a natural source of shade. The donation will now be used to install a bespoke sun sail, which will reliably protect the children from intense UV radiation and light rain showers in future.

A shared outlook: the commitment continues
In addition to the financial contribution, Novaled and Kinderarche Sachsen e.V. have agreed to continue their cooperation: in future, Novaled staff will get involved in practical projects on the ground as part of corporate volunteering initiatives, in order to actively support Kinderarche’s regional facilities.
